This implementation plan aligned with a zero-over-time strategy that targeted equipment that was at the end of its life and ready for renewal, while retaining components that had a few years of life in them yet. The project provided an 85% decarbonization of the building.

An all-or-nothing approach leaves behind major opportunities for progress, while zero-over-time approaches make significant advances practical and achievable for the largest number of facilities.
