Jody has more than two decades of experience in the energy industry, including more than 17 years of construction project management. His experience includes energy-efficiency project management, site field engineering, maintenance and compliance program management, and data analysis.
Jody is a certified energy auditor able to specify, implement, and commission energy efficiency measures for a wide variety of building systems. As a project manager for GreenerU, Jody consistently meets aggressive deadlines safely, on time, and under budget. He works with campus facility managers to implement complex mechanical, lighting, plumbing, and building envelope projects. With strong customer focus for every project in his portfolio, whether it’s multi-thousand-dollar or $5-million projects, Jody navigates challenging project conditions in occupied buildings where service outages to critical systems must be coordinated. Prior to joining GreenerU, Jody was a field engineer for Shell Oil, responsible for capital projects and major maintenance at a continually changing portfolio of 100–300 commercial sites with an annual budget of $6–10 million. He implemented a national regulatory compliance program, building custom data analysis tools to ensure accountability of subcontractors, consultants, and colleagues. Jody earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Northeastern University.
Jody has had five red Volkswagens, including a 1978 Super Beetle convertible.
