Prior to joining GreenerU, Craig served as the Director of Strategic Partnerships at BlocPower, a Black-led climate technology company ranked as the fourth most innovative company in the world in 2022 by Fast Company Magazine. Craig led efforts to stand up BlocPower’s presence in Massachusetts as its third major market—winning and managing multiple municipal and state program contracts for the company totaling millions of dollars—and secured anchor partnerships for the company in six other states, as well as solidifying multiple national channel partnerships that brought the company more than $30 million in project pipeline.

Previously, Craig served as the founding executive director of Better Future Project, which he launched during a one-year fellowship from Harvard Law School. He departed the organization a decade later, leaving it with a seven-figure annual operating budget and a track record of success. Those successes included training and empowering more than 1,000 volunteers, revitalizing the national student fossil fuel divestment movement, preventing new gas pipeline construction, ending of coal burning in Massachusetts, and advancing critical climate and clean energy legislation in Massachusetts. This work earned more than 1,000 media hits, including from The New York Times and Boston Globe, as well as multiple awards.

Craig earned a Bachelor of Arts in international relations from Eckerd College, a Master in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School, a Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School, and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management and Leadership from Boston University Questrom School of Management. He lives with his wife and young sons in Maynard, Massachusetts.
