Tim joined GreenerU in January 2018 with more than seven years in project and operations management for building, civil, and clean energy construction firms.
Following his graduation from Roger Williams University with a degree in construction management and a minor in business, Tim joined general contracting firm TRAC Builders, Inc. in Johnston, RI, as an assistant project manager. Following that, Tim was a junior estimator for heavy civil and demolition projects for S&R Corporation in Lowell, Mass., for two years. He spent more than four years as a project and operations manager for combined heat and power (CHP) projects with Tecogen, developing the company’s turnkey CHP installation and engineered accessory division. Tim works primarily with GreenerU’s energy-efficiency engineering team on the development and implementation of energy-efficient MEP on new construction and renovation projects. Tim has recently completed a new arts center at Brooks School in North Andover, Mass and is currently working on a library renovation at Phillips Academy in Andover, Mass and a lab rehabilitation at UMASS Boston.
Tim has construction in his blood. It’s not only his day job, but his night and weekend job, too—he recently renovated a two-family house just outside of Boston. Just when Tim thinks he has finished one project, another pops up like the eternal Whac-a-Mole that renovation is.
