Rick has more than 20 years of diverse accounting/finance experience within the financial, retail and energy sectors. Rick specializes in accounting systems development, financial reporting and process management, including more than 10 years’ experience in the energy service sector.
Starting in 1996, he served as Controller for HEC/Select Energy Services. Along with his responsibilities as Controller, Rick’s accomplishments included the implementation of an upgraded accounting platform (BST Enterprises), new Sarbanes-Oxley testing procedures, as well as coordinated the due diligence and integration process for several acquisitions. He was at the forefront of developing the standards for accounting and reporting for the growing ESPC business, ensuring compliance with GAAP regulations. After Ameresco acquired Select Energy Services in 2006, Rick became Divisional Controller overseeing the accounting for the Federal Energy Savings Performance Contracting (ESPC) business. Most recently, Rick was the Director of Finance and Administration at Cheapflights Media(USA) Inc. In this role Rick oversaw the company’s North American operations, including finance, IT, human resources, and administration. Other prior employers include Netversant, DMR Group, and TJX Corp. Rick holds a Bachelor of Science in accountancy as well as an MBA in finance from Bentley University.
Rick has been secretly breeding Lipizzaner stallions at his suburban Massachusetts home since the late ‘70s.
