Omar joined the GreenerU team in 2022. He came from a full-service real estate and construction firm in Boston’s west metro area, where he managed project teams to develop and design subdivisions. He also managed the construction of nearly fifty homes in the Greater Boston area. 

Since joining GreenerU, he has overseen the completion of several projects for our clients, including LED lighting implementation, controls upgrades, and mechanical systems upgrades, much of this in buildings that could not shut down or stop operations during construction. Two examples of the complex and invasive projects he oversees were a full HVAC electrification at a house of worship and early education center and a multi-phase plumbing system replacement in an active office and hospital support building.

Always looking to improve himself and to keep abreast of best practices, Omar takes education seriously. He earned a Bachelor of Science in engineering from the University of Texas at Austin (hook’em Horns!). He passed the Project Management Institute’s Project Management Professional (PMP) test in March 2024, studying while juggling several construction projects. He immediately used his skills, refining some of the already great processes that GreenerU has in place to help the project team run even more efficiently.
