As the newest member of GreenerU’s change management department, Bridget Scott (no relation to Dallase) brings facilitation skills, technical capabilities, and energy to her role as coordinator.
Bridget has experience in sustainability metrics and planning, program development and implementation, and garnering community support in higher education and abroad. She worked with both Lehigh University and Swarthmore College’s sustainability departments, compiling and submitting the latter’s first AASHE STARS report and designing a data collection system to aid in future submissions. Bridget’s additional work experience includes a Fulbright scholarship in Durban, South Africa, acting as an educator and cultural ambassador, as well as internships with the Center for Innovation and Leadership at Swarthmore and the University of California’s sustainability department.
While living in Durban, South Africa, Bridget played basketball on the fiercest team of them all: the Dolphins. While playing, she had to learn some of the basics of the Zulu language to run plays and communicate on the court—especially the word “hamba,” meaning “go!”
